After 6 months of waiting we finally got a new underwater housing for Sony A6500 camera and much more. This unit can accommodate not only Sony A6500 camera, but also Sony A6300 & A6000. We also got an increase on depth rate, which is now at 60 meters(130ft).

A lot of you out there were asking about new Sony lens which is SEL1018 10-18mm Wide-Angle Zoom Lens and if it will work with this underwater housing. The answer is no, because as practice and polls show - majority of people prefer the option of being able to control zoom instead of being able to change lenses. To implement both of those options in one product is pretty difficult and challenging from the engineering point of view, cost wise, production etc. But the good news, the zoom wheel on this underwater housing is exceptionally well designed and so easy to operate, of course if you are using a kit lens.
