A7ii | Exciting news about new underwater housing for Sony A7ii !!!

Dear friends we have some very very nice news about Sony A7II underwater housing!

Today we got a little sneak peak at this long awaited product by Meikon.

First thing I want to point out is the flash system, now you can trigger the slave strobe by SYNC cable method.

The second and probably most important is interchangeable ports.

For now we know that the existing port can fit 28-70mm and 24-70mm lenses.

However Meikon are interested in your opinion on what port should be done next, for which lens?

What are the inside dimensions of the existing port on the Sony A7 II housing?

A port for the Sony Zeiss Distagon 35mm 1.4 would be great.

Do you sell just the flash adapter with sync? so I could rebuild my A7s underwater housing.
It would be great if there was a kit to rebuild it

you would make my day!!

I ordered one of these cases… Now I’m trying to figure out how to use the sync feature? I inserted my A7RII and all camera functions appear to work (except the locking priority dial – but that’s not an issue). The sync cable receptacle appears to have only one “hole.” So I presume it’s not electronic? I tried my optical strobe that I use with your older housings. The strobe did not fire? The camera also does not “see” a flash attached. The included manual does not cover this??? Can you advise?

Thanks,
Tom
